A piece of Boogie Woogie history returns to the turntable: Axel Zwingenberger’s first live solo album, recorded in Munich in 1984/85, is now available again on LP. The recordings were originally released on vinyl in the 1980s and, over the past few decades, have mainly been available on CD. Now they return in a new edition on heavyweight blue vinyl – a musical classic and a real eye-catcher.
The album features Axel Zwingenberger completely solo and exclusively performing his own compositions. Twelve tracks ranging from powerful Boogie Woogie to blues are spread across both sides of the record – including Boogie Woogie Be With Me, Jump And Jive, Blues For Sippie Wallace, In The Heat and Goodnight Blues.
For anyone who would like to explore the music in even greater depth, a transcription of the album is also available as a sheet music book, likewise in a revised new edition.
